With the successful certification according to the FSSC standard, we have succeeded in further strengthening our position as a reliable partner for the food industry. The FSSC 22000 certificate impressively highlights our professional handling of food safety and quality management requirements. We are delighted to be fulfilling our own quality standard in all respects with this important milestone.
Globally recognised standard for the food industry
The FSSC 22000 certificate was developed by the Foundation for Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) as a global standard for auditing and certifying food safety management systems. The system is based on independent international standards such as the ISO 22000 standard for food safety and expands these with industry-specific prerequisite programs (PRPs) according to ISO/TS 22002-x and the FSSC’s own requirements.
Thanks to equivalence with other recognised procedures such as the International Featured Standard and the British Retail Consortium Standard, the FSSC 22000 certificate is accepted by all those involved in the food chain. As a global certification standard, FSSC 22000 is also recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
CG 1962 | Chemicals passes certification process
Certification according to FSSC 22000 offers companies the opportunity to have their own handling of the requirements from authorities, trade partners and consumers audited by an independent body.
The first step in this is a self-assessment based on the FSSC requirements, which is then audited by an FSSC 22000-licensed certification body. Following a successful audit, the certificate is registered by the certification body. Annual surveillance audits and unannounced audits ensure continuous conformity with the requirements of the standard.
As a reliable partner to the food industry, we are delighted about our successful certification according to FSSC 22000 and consider the award to be confirmation of our high quality and safety standards.
